The Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary is situated in the district of Uttar Kannada of Karnataka. This reserve is known as the largest sanctuary in Karnataka and spread over an area of 834.16 sq.km.
Dandeli-Anshi Tiger Reserve is in fact, a joint company of the Dandeli Tiger Reserve & Anshi National Park which was jointly recognized as Tiger Reserve Project in January 2007. Today Dandeli has over 40 tigers.
The Jungle Safari takes place in an open jeep that takes you to the jungle 14 km deep to explore the wildlife habitat of the Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary usually winds with steep slopes with tranquil deep river valleys and abundant mountain forest. This forest is typical of moist and deciduous forests, with pockets of all greenery.
*as the name says it’s a Jungle Safari and not an Animal Safari so Sighting is very Rare coz the animals are all spread across the wild 834.16 sq.km.forest
